FAQ

What is the concept behind Yankii Robatayaki & Bar?
We’ve taken the timeless art of robata grilling and mixed it with the rebellious, high-octane energy of Tokyo’s street scene. It’s where tradition gets a wild streak, a place where fire, flavor, and a little bit of chaos come together.

What is robatayaki-style cooking?
It’s pure fireside magic. Imagine chefs grilling your food over hot charcoal, right in front of you. Every skewer is a spectacle, served with a shout and passed to you on a long wooden paddle. It’s all about a front-row seat to the culinary action.

Where is Yankii located, and how can I find it?
We’re on the ground floor of the Skyview Hotel Bangkok, on Sukhumvit Soi 24. Easy to find and even easier to get to. Just a short walk from BTS Phrom Phong station.

Are both meat and vegetarian robata options available?
Yes, our menu features a wide selection of grilled items, including premium meats and seafood, as well as a variety of fresh seasonal vegetables.

What kinds of drinks and cocktails are served?
Our bar is where the real fun starts. Downstairs in the karaoke chaos, we’re serving up Japanese-inspired cocktails that are as daring as our food, like a Yuzu Sour that’s both tart and a little dangerous. We’ve also got a full list of sake, spirits, and beers to fuel your night.

What is the ambiance like at Yankii?
Get ready for a total sensory experience. The upstairs grill room is buzzing with energy, the sizzle of food, and old-school hip-hop beats. Head downstairs and you’re in a retro, neon-lit world inspired by vintage Japanese candy shops, where you can grab a drink and own the mic, because the entire bar is for karaoke. It’s a place with zero pretense and maximum fun.
